  1. Overview

Get Started

Make your first deal with Alright

Alright is currently in test mode only and cannot create real-money deals just yet. The app is able to connect to either the Algorand TestNet network or an Algorand LocalNet sandbox network for user testing.

Algorand Testnet

To use the on TestNet prepare your wallet to connect to TestNet before connecting to Alright. Using the public TestNet enables testing with other people and experiencing the deal workflow through your wallet.

Alright can interface with the following wallets that support TestNet:

  • Pera Wallet

  • Defly Wallet

  • Ledger, via direct USB connection to Chrome browser only

Exodus wallet does not currently have the ability to connect to TestNet, so it cannot be used for testing at this time.

AlgoKit LocalNet

If you are a developer familiar with AlgoKit, you can create a LocalNet sandbox network and connect Alright by choosing the AlgoKit LocalNet wallet option. This will connect to the KMD service of your LocalNet and fetch all available wallets and accounts that are not password protected, which typically includes three starter accounts that are funded when a LocalNet network is created.

When connected to LocalNet, signing is done automatically and instantly using the account keys that were imported from KMD, so no additional wallet is required. Feel free to create various deals, assets, and other scenarios to explore how Alright works.
